Hunt Overview
Dove hunts are a special time because they are social, require little gear, and usually involve reuniting with old friends. In the spirit of friendship and good times, on opening weekend, enjoy the second annual Nueces River Shootout at the 501 Ranch in the heart of South Texas.
Hunters will have exclusive access to prime dove hunting, spectacular lodging, incredible amenities, delicious cuisine, and plenty of cold drinks. To add to the fun, hunters will enjoy a private concert from Texas country music legend Roger Creager.
Provider will provide the ammo and care for the game. Our experienced guides will take hunters to the fields and get them set up in the right spots.
This is a truly unique opportunity to experience the quintessential Texas dove hunt at the extraordinary 501 Ranch. This package is for a hunter and spouse / significant other.
This will be double occupancy in a private room in one of the cabins. The rooms have 1 king bed and their spacious bathrooms are equipped with either a large shower or a tub shower combo, perfect for unwinding after a day of hunting activities. Every cottage extends into a covered lounging porch with ample seating, inviting guests to relax and soak in the picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. Whether seeking adventure or tranquility, visitors will find both amidst these charming ranch-style retreats.

Restrictions:
- Hunters are responsible for their shotguns. Gun rentals are available for $100/day.
- Hunters must have a valid TX hunting license with a migratory bird endorsement.
- Shells are provided. Hunters are welcome to bring their shells if desired.
- Guests will be sharing a bed (double occupancy single bedroom)
- Hunters are responsible for getting themselves to and from the ranch.
- *The dove fields are sometimes off the ranch depending on where the good hunting is. Drives can be up to 30 minutes. If a guest is worried about driving to the field please reach out to the concierge and we will help to solve the transportation. Guides and team members will be happy to transport.
