Normandy is a charming region just north of Paris. It’s both a rural and seaside area famous for producing excellent cheeses, apple cider, and seafood. Normandy is also filled with an important historical heritage. For a long-time disputed between France and England, Normandy hosts many medieval towns and one of the most iconic landmarks in France: The Mont Saint-Michel, an ancient abbey that is one of the most stunning sights in France. Normandy should be on every food and history lover’s bucket list!

Castle Tower Luxury
Experience true luxury in the tower wing of this stunningly picturesque chateau located in Normandy, France. The property is endlessly charming, with a private tennis court, elevator, 14 acres of manicured gardens, and a pond (the castle’s resident swan is named Lorenza). The grounds also feature two German blockhouses, which were once part of The Atlantic Wall in World War II. With 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, the tower wing of the chateau accommodates up to 10 guests with an authentic royal experience!

Elegant Historical Garden Design
The ground floor of the tower features a reading/dining room with a sofa, armchairs, a large 17th-century fireplace, and a family dining table. The kitchen and library are also found on the ground floor, with an elevator that leads to the upper floors.

Bedroom Configuration
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, views of the pond, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, which offer beautiful views, one of the sea and the other of the Normandy countryside. The first bedroom features two large single beds and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom features a four-poster king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom. There is a family room and one bedroom on the third floor. The family room features a sofa, armchairs, a home cinema, and games. The bedroom has a beamed ceiling and features a four-poster king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom.

Experience “La belle vie”
Guests can experience “the good life” both at the chateau and in the neighboring areas. Guests will have an authentic French dinner in the chateau from a local private chef. The Tower wing has extensive grounds which include an English-style garden, a pond, ample manicured lawns, ancient oaks and willows, and a tennis court. There are several tables for alfresco dining as well as an outdoor sofa and armchairs. The chateau is a few miles from the beaches of Normandy, where they can explore World War II sites such as Omaha Beach, where D-Day took place, or simply relax and enjoy the ocean.

Details:

Travel to be made within 24 months of the date of the Gala. Must be booked a minimum of 60 days in advance. Reservations are subject to availability. The package can be sold multiple times. All purchases are non-refundable. May be subject to a refundable damage deposit to be paid by the winner. If a deposit is not required, the winner assumes full financial responsibility for any damages incurred. In the event that this property is not available, a substitute of equal quality will be provided. Air and ground transportation are not included unless where specified.

When purchasing an auction item, the buyer(s) waives any and all claims against the NPO, the provider of the item or experience, the Auctioneer and the Auction Company, including but not limited to personal injuries, damaged or lost property, additional expenses incurred, etc. that may result from the utilization of the auction item(s) purchased.
